Also, a concern and amajor concern are babies that are born at term to moms who have had diabetes during pregnancy. We againscreen these babies very carefully to make sure that the glucoses are within the normal range, the sugars arewithin normal range.We monitor babies for signs of low blood sugar: jitteriness, tremulousness, any signs that the babies are notresponding appropriately.
