Why can’t my baby get milk feedings?“Sometimes milk feedings are stopped if the babies are showing signs that they're not digesting properly. Theymight show us that by having residuals, which means milk left in their stomach when it's time to eat again, andwe get especially concerned if those residuals are green or bile stained.Another reason the baby may not be fed is if the baby develops Abdominal distention. That would just indicateagain that maybe the baby's enzymes that digest milk are not yet mature enough or the baby has some otherproblem that is prohibiting them from digesting normally.
